Haven’t posted anything in a long while. I was waiting until I got home from Japan to update. But that part of this trip has been postponed until October. It’s been so nice to finally spend some time with my hubby. Japan is really neat and its been a lot of fun getting around and seeing stuff. I should have been home today but it seems that I didn’t make it thanks to traffic and a missed flight. But at least it means I get to spend more time here. I’ll be sure to post a few pictures after I get them to a computer. Hope everyone is well!

And I’m Back :)
So I’m going to keep posting on this blog. I’m finally planning my trip to visit Philip in Japan. I’m so excited but absolutely terrified to fly to Japan alone. Apparently I have to get myself to a different airport for a connecting flight once I get to Japan. Nothing like being thrown into another country, huh? So we’ll see how that turns out. No new news about moving over there permanently. However, I am going to apply for a job as a teacher’s aid and see if maybe I can find a loophole to get myself out there.
Honestly, I don’t feel like I’m old enough to be making all these plans. But that’s about all thats new. I’m still trying to figure out graduate school. Hopefully I can finally decide and get on that. I don’t want to put it off any longer because I don’t know that I’ll want to go back. So I guess that’s all for this post. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Ponderings
Hmmm…what to post, what to post? Well, nothing new on the Japan front. We’re still getting the run around about everything. So far it’s looking like I won’t get to go live (at least that’s the way it looks right now). Maybe things will change for the better. I’m planning on taking a trip out to see Philip for a few weeks in August. I’m really excited about it but nervous at the same time. I’ve never flown by myself…
Life, in general, is pretty boring. I’ve been thinking about going back to school to get my Masters. Now if I can just figure out what I want my degree in…I would LOVE to be an English teacher but I honestly cannot decide what to do with myself. I’ve been contemplating getting a job. I don’t know who would want to hire the girl who is potenitally moving to Japan and needs at least three weeks off at a time to go see her husband. Yeah, doesn’t sound promising. I really wish I could go back to teaching horseback riding lessons. That really was a dream job. Who doesn’t like working for themself??? So if anyone has any ideas for a fun, creative, flexible job…throw them my way.
I’ve also been thinking about moving this blog somewhere else. I like WordPress, I really do. But lets be honest…its boring. I want creative backgrounds and the like. So it’s a possibility I’ll be moving…maybe.
Ok enough rambling for one day I suppose. I think a nap before the gym is in order. It’s been a long day already. Plus I’m still running on Japan time since Philip and I hold our long internet talks until 4 am (5 pm his time). I get woken up at all hours of the night. *sigh* The things I do for that man. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Hope everyone has had a good week. It’s almost the weekend so good weekend tidings to everyone!
And this is Zeus, our furbaby. He thinks he’s cute (can’t you tell?)

Beachy Time
So finally at the beach
. YAY! Its nice to relax a bit. Wish I was relaxing with my new hubs though. Anywho, it’s really nice here and we’ve been having a ton of fun so far. I’ll have to post a few pics of us kayaking on the creek. So yeah, that’s about all. Just wanted to post something so I wasn’t MIA for so long this time. Hope everyone is looking forward to the next week!

Randomness of a late night
Well it’s storming something awful here and I love it.
I’m also waiting on another call from Japan and procrastinating like no other. As much as I love the beach, I LOATHE packing for it. It’s nice to be running on my own schedule for once though. I figured I would post a few wedding pictures while I sit here. I have a ton more that I might post later (however they aren’t even on the computer yet…) Maybe someone will enjoy them.
It was such a wonderful day. After 7 years it’s about time we tied the knot. Game over buddy…

Bittersweet
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Philip graduated from school and came home.
We finally got married on May 23rd and had a short mini-moon. Time just goes by way too fast. He had 3 weeks at home before he left for Japan (today). It’s been a very bittersweet few weeks. I wish we had had just a little more time to enjoy being newlyweds. We don’t know if or when I’ll get to follow him over there. Here’s hoping that I go soon. These long times apart are driving both of us crazy. That’s about all of the update info I have for now. I think I’m going to go to bed and try to stop moping. Three weeks together just wasn’t long enough. A lifetime wouldn’t be long enough….

Here We Go
Its been a little while since I’ve posted anything. There are a lot of new things coming up. Some good, some emotionally taxing. I graduate tomorrow from the University of Tennessee. I can’t believe I’m finally a college graduate. It seems like the past 4 years have flown by. I guess it’s time for me to throw myself out into this big ol’ world. Philip finally comes home in 12 days. I can’t wait to see him. It’s been a really long 3 1/2 months without him. We’re getting married in 14 days and, now that I type it, it seems really overwhelming. I can’t wait to finally be his wife. He’s almost finished with school and he’s done extremely well. I’m so proud of him. We finally got orders and that was quite a surprise to say the very least. He had put in for East Coast so we were geared up to move somewhere semi-close to family. Well, thats not going to happen. His orders are for Japan…and he’s going alone. Since he’s not married yet I’m not included on this fun little trip. Here’s hoping that his command will take pity on a brand new family and allow me to move over there. I just don’t know how we’d make it away from each other for 2 years. :*( I’m excited for him to go but I’m worried about him being alone. I think we’ve only been together for less than 20 days in the past 8 months. Time goes quick but I don’t want to be without him for that long and I know he feels the same. Please pray that his orders will be amended and I can go over there. It would be such an amazing experience. At least he can come home for his own wedding. We’ll just have to make the best of the time we’re given together. I believe that’s all the new stuff going on. I guess now I really will be keeping this blog up to date on all the interesting happenings in our life. The Corps makes things so exciting.\
